The Pegasus Astro NYX Hand Controller is an optional add-on for the NYX harmonic mounts, designed for visual observers who want to control the mount without a computer. It gives direct access to mount information, lets you slew to precise coordinates and explore well-known celestial targets and catalogs.

Made for Visual Observing

With the NYX Hand Controller you can set up and use your NYX mount in the field without a laptop. Navigate the sky, center your target, change slew rates and check the mount information directly from the controller.

Goto and Catalogs

Choose a target from the built-in object catalogs and let the mount slew to it, or enter exact coordinates for any other object.

Equatorial or Alt-Az

The NYX mounts can operate in German Equatorial or Altazimuth mode, and the hand controller lets you switch between the two directly in the field.

Compatibility

The hand controller is designed for the NYX-101 and is also offered as an optional accessory for the NYX-88 harmonic mount.
