Pegasus Astro Half Pier for NYX-88 on EQ6 Steel Tripod
The Pegasus Astro Half Pier for EQ6 Tripod is an 18 cm (7") pier extension that lets you mount the NYX-88 harmonic mount on the classic steel EQ6 tripod. It raises the mount above the tripod head and keeps your telescope clear of the tripod legs.
Quick Overview
Why a Half Pier
When the telescope points high in the sky or crosses the meridian, the optical tube or the camera can hit the tripod legs. Raising the mount by 18 cm gives your setup the clearance it needs and allows unattended imaging sessions without the risk of collisions.
Easy Assembly
The half pier comes with all the adapters needed to connect the NYX-88 to the steel EQ6 tripod, together with 3 rods for assembly.
