The most budget-friendly camera with an Aptina CMOS sensor for brightfield microscopy with 4x and 10x objectives as well as stereomicroscopes
18MP resolution: When working with low magnification objectives, the camera will enable you to see more fine details
13.1fps at a resolution of 4912x3684pix is enough for focusing adjustments
34.3fps and 54.4fps at resolutions of 2456x1842pix and 1228x922pix are perfect for classroom use, observing moving samples, recording video; the movement of the preparation can be seen without jerkiness and delays
USB 3.0 interface for fast, smooth data transfer
Software with photo, video recording, editing, external display, linear and angular measurement
Sensor The camera features an Aptina color CMOS sensor. This is the most budget-friendly Magus camera with high resolution. The 1/2.3'' sensor with 1.25x1.25µm pixel provides light sensitivity of 0.62mV/lux/s. To achieve the maximum field of view without distortion, we recommend using an adapter with a magnification of 0.4x to 0.6x.
Software features The camera uses software to display images on an external display, take photographs, record video, edit images, and measure linear and angular dimensions of objects and their structures. Before taking measurements, the software must be calibrated for each objective with a calibration slide.
Installation The camera is mounted on the microscope in the trinocular tube or side camera port using the C-mount adapter (included). To mount the camera in an eyepiece tube instead of an eyepiece, you will need a special C-mount adapter and adapters to fit the tube diameter (not included).
