TS-Optics REFRACTOR 0.79x 2" ED Reducer Corrector for APO and ED

The TS 2" PHOTOLINE 0.79x corrector / reducer is an improved design of the well known Riccardi reducser.
Its four element design offers good field correction superior to cheap 0.8x reducers.

For friends of screwed solutions, an additional M54x0.75 external thread is available at the end of the 2" socket. Many focuser already have a corresponding internal thread. Via adapters you can also adapt the TSRED279 to focuser with other threads.

Back Focus - distances from the T2-thread to the camera sensor depends on the focal length of the telescope:

• Focal Length to 350 mm .... 70 mm
• Focal Length to 420 mm .... 65 mm
• Focal Length 450-500 mm ... 61 mm
• Focal Length 510-600 mm ... 58 mm
• Focal Length 610-700 mm ... 57 mm
• Focal Length 710-790 mm ... 56 mm
• Focal Length from 800 mm .. 55 mm

First light image from the scope of the relatively faint emission nebula IC1396 is shown left.
This is a total integration of 2 hours (6 x 20 min sub-exposures) which indicates the potential of this scope for capturing extended nebula regions at great depth with speed.
