AST Optics DH15 - Dew Heater
In a clear night, most surfaces radiate much heat and cool down. As soon as the temperature falls below the dew point, dew forms and the observations are over.A dew heater replaces the radiated heat without causing turbulence and thus bad seeing, therefore keeps the temperature above the dew point and prevents dew formation. The economically priced AST Optics are made with quality materials and finishing. An important advantage is the low power consumption. Due to the RCA plug and 12 V power supply, the heaters are compatible with most popular controllers like Astrozap, Kendrick and Rigel.
