TS-Optics Fork Mount for large binoculars and rich field telescopes

The TS fork mount is the result of intensive tests aimed at creating a robust, low-vibration yet transportable mount for large binoculars and compact telescopes. By using aluminum profiles, we kept the weight of the mount below 5 kg but nevertheless were able to implement a payload of up to 15 kg.

Convincing features of the TS UForkMount: 

♦ Vibrations are suppressed with dampening materials and short levers.
♦ The instrument can easily be attached via the supplied multifuncional plate.
♦ Furthermore, the dovetail clamp accepts any dovetail bars (GP and EQ5 style).
♦ The fork mount can be easily detached from the pivot bearing on the base. The bearing for horizontal adjustment on the base is implemented as dry bearing, thus the mount can be easier adapted to photo tripods.
♦ The friction for height is adjustable via two big knurled screws.
♦ The mount allows for free 360° panning in azimuth and trouble-free swiveling from horizon to zenith, thus you can reach any point in the sky. 

Applications of the TS UForkMount: 

♦ Observing the countryside and wildlife observing: fast pans or slow tracking are no problem with htis mount. Use your spotting scope or your binoculars with the mount
♦ Sports photography, animal photography: even heavy telephoto lenses are well supported and can easily be attached. Swivel to the target, release and take pictures.
♦ Astronomy: due to the special shape of the fork, you can swivel up to the zenith and thus find and observe object in the sky.
