Why a Half Pier
When the telescope points high in the sky or crosses the meridian, the optical tube or the camera can hit the tripod legs. Raising the mount by 18 cm gives your setup the clearance it needs and allows unattended imaging sessions without the risk of collisions.
Easy Assembly
The half pier comes with all the adapters needed to connect the NYX-88 to the steel EQ6 tripod, together with 3 rods for assembly.
