The Ermenrich Ping RD50 radiation detector is essential for measuring background radiation in the environment, water, food, buildings, and household items. The Geiger-Muller counter can measure gamma, beta, and X-ray radiation in the range from 0.05µSv to 50mSv. If the permissible level is exceeded, the device produces sound and light alerts.
Current readings and the average and total radiation levels are simultaneously displayed on the color LCD screen. It also displays the current time and date and has a timer. Up to 10 readings can be stored. The radiation detector can operate for up to 20 days without interruption and it is powered by a 2000mAh lithium rechargeable battery. The low battery indicator will tell you when the device needs to be charged.
