Encourage your kid’s interest in science! Give him or her this wonderful microscope for beginners that includes everything needed for conducting independent experiments and research. And maybe these experiments will be your child’s first steps towards winning the Nobel Prize! Thanks to its wide magnification range, the microscope is suitable for observing a huge number of interesting samples. The microscope has a bright body of lime color – an ideal choice for a school kid or a student!

Quality optics

The microscope comes with three objective lenses producing 64x, 160x, and 640x magnification. 40xs objective lens (the most powerful one in the kit) is equipped with a special spring mechanism. If you accidently touch the microscope slide with the objective lens, the mechanism will prevent the slide from cracking. The microscope kit also includes 2x Barlow lens, which doubles the magnification of any given objective lens. Thus, the microscope magnification reaches 1280x!

The optics are made of quality multi-coated optical glass. As a result, you will always get clear, bright, and sharp images.

Combined illumination

The microscope features combined upper and lower LED illumination system. To observe transparent objects – thin plant cuts, aquarium water – use lower illumination. Upper illumination is used for observing opaque objects; for example, paper or cloth. Moreover, this microscope model allows for viewing translucent objects – for that purpose both illuminations are used simultaneously. You can also adjust the brightness level for the best possible view of a particular microscope sample.

Durable and convenient body

The microscope is distinguished by its modern and stylish design, as well as for its high reliability. The durable metal body of the instrument allows for its long service life even when it is used intensively in schools, colleges, or medical laboratories. For even more convenient use, the microscope head is inclined at an angle of 45 degrees. The head is also 360-degrees rotatable, which is very convenient for group work.

The microscope can run on AC power, as well as on batteries.

Caution:
Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220-240V in most European countries.

Conducting experiments

The Levenhuk K50 Experiment kit is included in the package. With this kit you can observe ready-to-use microscope samples, prepare your own slides, breed aquarium crayfish, and do many other interesting things! The informative user guide contains all necessary information about the microscope, as well as professional tips and recommendations on preparing slides and conducting experiments.

Durable case

Like any other optical instrument, this microscope requires careful handling. This reliable case securely protects the instrument from mechanical shock and dust.
