RAINBOW 2L PLUS AZURE MICROSCOPE
Features:
Is your kid fond of the microcosm? Or maybe his or her hobby is collecting things? Has a strong intention to become a biologist or doctor? Then Levenhuk Rainbow 2L PLUS Azure Microscope would be a wonderful gift for your child! This microscope will teach your kid to work with different kinds of specimens and discover so many new things! Moreover, the microscope has a very attractive colorful design – it will look really great on your child’s desktop.
Excellent optics
Levenhuk Rainbow 2L PLUS biological microscopes are made of only the highest quality materials. The lenses are made of a special optical glass of high transparency. For better light transmission, the optical surfaces are coated with multiple layers of anti-reflective coating, which increases sharpness and contrast of produced images.
The kit includes three objective lenses producing 64x, 160x, and 640x magnification. The most powerful objective lens (40xs) has a special spring-loaded mechanism for optics safety.
Combined illumination
One more advantage of the model – the microscope is equipped with two LED illuminations. Lower illumination is used for viewing transparent samples, such as liquids or thin sections of plant and animal tissue. Upper illumination allows for observing opaque objects – paper, minerals, cloth, and metal. If you turn both illuminations on at once, you can observe semi-transparent objects. You can also adjust brightness for a better view.
Durable and convenient body
The reliable body is made of metal – it can easily withstand frequent use and serve you for years to come. For more convenience, the monocular head is inclined at an angle of 45 degrees. Moreover, it can be rotated 360 degrees – and that is very convenient for working in a group; you can just rotate the head itself without moving the microscope.
This instrument can be used indoors and outdoors – the microscope can be powered by an outlet or batteries.
Caution: Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220-240V in most European countries.
Experiment kit
The package includes Levenhuk K50 Experiment Kit. It contains everything needed for your first experiments: ready-to-use microscope slides, special tools for making your own, and a very useful user guide with information about the microscope, recommendations for its use, and experiment descriptions.
