RAINBOW 50L AZURE MICROSCOPE
Features:
How are plants and animals made? Why are insects capable of walking on the walls? Is it true what they say in the yogurt ads about live bacteria? Levenhuk Rainbow 50L Azure Microscope will help you find answers to these and many other questions. With this microscope you can take a look at the objects around you under 800x increase! The kit includes everything required to carry out fun experiments with a microscope. The microscope comes in an amazing azure color that will certainly brighten up the everyday routine of any school student!
High magnification power
The kit includes three objective lenses, which produce magnifications of 40x, 100x and 400x. 2x Barlow lens also included in the kit makes it possible to widen the magnification range of the instrument even further – Barlow lens increases magnification with each particular objective two times. As a result, you can observe samples with magnification from 40x up to 800x!
The lenses are made of high-quality optical glass and, additionally, are multicoated. This results in clear and contrast images of observed samples.
Combined illumination
The microscope features two built-in LED illuminations. Lower illumination allows for observing transparent samples such as thin slices of plants, aquarium water and many others. Upper illumination is required to observe opaque objects; for example to examine paper, fabrics and coins. It’s convenient to have both illuminations on if you want to observe semi-transparent samples. The smooth brightness adjustment mechanism allows regulating the level of illumination required for observing any given sample.
Considered design
The microscope’s body is made of durable plastic; that’s why the microscope in not just sturdy, but also very lightweight. For the observer’s comfort, the head is inclined at 45° and can be rotated 360° around its axis. So if several people work with the microscope in a group, there’s no need to move the microscope – just turn the head in the desired direction. The illumination can be powered by an electrical outlet as well as by batteries, which makes it possible to use the microscope even when an outlet is not available.
Caution: Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220-240V in most European countries.
The kit for experiments with microscope
Another advantage of this model is the Levenhuk K50 Experiment Kit supplied with the microscope. The kit includes everything needed for your first microscopic observations. With Levenhuk K50, beginning researchers can study prepared slides and make their own samples as well as carry out a number of exciting experiments. To make the process easier and even more fun, the kit includes a detailed user guide with a lot of useful information and helpful recommendations.
Reliable case included
The microscope comes in a convenient plastic case, which securely protects the instrument from dust and mechanical damage. The case is comfortable for both storage and transportation of the microscope.
