Pierro Astro 1.25" Adapter for GSO or TS-Optics 50 mm Finders

This adapter allows you to use your guiding camera in 1.25" housing with your TS-Optics, GSO or Kepler finder scope. You will then obtain a real electronic finder and/or an ultra-compact guide scope.

The adapter is compatible with 8x50 or 9x50 straight finders of GSO, TS-Optics or Kepler. It is also possible that it is compatible with other comparable brands. Once the ring has been screwed onto the finder scope, insert your camera into the the receptacle and focus by using the focusing system at the objective. The camera position can also be adjusted to obtain the focus, as the depth of the sensor in the camera may vary from one model to another.

This adapter allows focusing with cameras with 1.25" housing and a sensor which is placed near the front of the camera (C and CS mount typically), like ZWO ASI Mini, GPCAM 2, GPCAM 3, Touptek etc.

It is possible to use the finder scope + camera assembly to autoguide your mount with very low weight. You will then be able to efficiently auto-guide photo instruments or lenses up to 800 to 1000 mm focal length (depending on the characteristics of the imaging sensor).

Note:

• For visual use (with eyepiece) it is possible that you cannot reach the focus.
• If your camera is T2 threaded, you will need another adapter (see accessories below), otherwise you will not achieve focus.
