MAGUS Stereo A10 Stereomicroscope
The MAGUS Stereo A10 research stereomicroscope is designed according to the CMO design. This powerful device can also expand its functionality with additional accessories. A CMO stereomicroscope with a 10:1 zoom ratio will be useful in production for quality control and in serious scientific research in the fields of medicine, biology, forensics, materials research, archeology and others. The CMO system guarantees a high-quality three-dimensional image of an object with authentic reproduction of color and shape, a wide field of view and high resolution. It is suitable for research in both transmitted and reflected light.
The two tubes of the binocular head are at a 20° angle to the horizontal plane: This position is comfortable and effective, especially when it is necessary to conduct prolonged observations. There is no diopter adjustment mechanism on the tubes; if you need to adjust the sharpness for imperfect vision, use eyepieces with a diopter adjustment ring. The microscope can be equipped with a digital camera, which can be installed in the intermediate attachment with a photo output (not included); you will also need a C-mount adapter for connection.
The next optical element in the tubes are the zoom objectives. Each tube has its own lens system, which, with a smooth change in magnification, automatically changes the focal length. This means the microscope always produces a clear and focused image of the object. The zoom capabilities of this microscope model are determined by a ratio of 10:1.
The tubes are connected in the main objective. It is located at an angle of 90° to the surface of the object. Thanks to this position, the shapes of the object are conveyed accurately. CMO microscopes have an 11° stereoscopic angle. The MAGUS Stereo A10 set includes a 1x objective with a working distance of 78mm. The optics are plan achromatic, with the correction of spherical and chromatic distortions.
The focusing system is located on both sides of the stand and consists of coarse and fine focusing knobs. The tension of the coarse focusing travel can be adjusted.
To work in both reflected and transmitted light, the stage is equipped with two plates. A double-sided plate in black and white is needed for opaque samples and is installed on the stage according to the principle of contrast with the object: the black side for light samples and the white side for dark ones. A transparent plate helps illuminate the object more evenly with transmitted diffused light.
The microscope is equipped with LED illuminators for transmitted and reflected light of oblique illumination. The transmitted light illuminator has a power of 6W, and the reflected light illuminator has a power of 3W. The LEDs have a lifespan of 50,000 hours.
The microscope kit can be supplemented with additional parts. These include eyepieces that expand the magnification capabilities, a main objective with different magnification, working distance and field of view, and calibration slides for stereo microscopes. The calibration slides help measure the dimensions of the object. The gap between the divisions is 0.1mm.
