You can measure the absolute optical power in any fiber optic system source, measure the optical power lost in a cable, and perform a continuity test to check if there are any breaks in the fiber optic cables. The optical multimeter is a must-have device for network cabling installers, system administrators, and fiber optic engineers to solve a wide range of professional tasks. The device can be used at home as well.
There are six wavelengths available. It supports single-mode and multi-mode cables and uses FC/SC/ST optical fiber connectors and an RJ45 network connector. The device has a built-in backlit screen, with LED indicators and control buttons underneath. The device is powered by a rechargeable battery, which is recharged through a Type-C USB cable. To save battery power, the multimeter is equipped with an auto power-off function that activates after 30 minutes of inactivity.
