Locking with knurled screw and brass compression ring
Solidly CNC machined aluminium
2" filter thread at the telescope side
2" Nosepiece with safety groove - no falling out of the focuser
An extension tube is the ideal solution if the focal point is too far away from the focuser. In many cases, it allows the photographic use of a telescope. This extension bridges 50 mm optical path. So the focuser does not have to be screwed out to the hard stop and the mechanical stability is increased.
In the calculation of the optical length, the 2" barrel is not taken into account because it sits inside the focuser´s drawtube.
