Levenhuk New Blaze ED 80 Spotting Scope
Features:
The Levenhuk New Blaze ED 80 is a high‑aperture spotting scope built around an 80mm objective lens with extra‑low dispersion (ED) glass. This premium optical system, combined with a smooth 20x–60x zoom, delivers exceptionally sharp, high‑contrast images across the entire magnification range. Thanks to its excellent light‑gathering capability, the spotting scope remains effective during dusk, cloudy weather, and overcast conditions. It is well-suited for hunting, wildlife observation, surveillance, and introductory astronomy.
ED optics and variable‑magnification objective
The objective incorporates extra‑low dispersion glass lenses. The main advantage of ED glass is the elimination of the distortions and chromatic aberrations that are often seen in entry‑level models. The large 80mm objective gathers sufficient light to keep the image bright and clear even at maximum magnification. Fully multi-coated optics enhance image sharpness and brightness.
Precise focus and viewing comfort
For fast and precise focusing, the scope features a dual‑stage system with separate coarse and fine adjustment controls. The 45° angled eyepiece prevents neck strain when observing high‑altitude objects. Long eye relief allows comfortable use with eyeglasses. The soft rubber eyecup ensures a comfortable fit and blocks stray light.
All‑weather reliability
The body is made of high‑strength plastic and it is sealed and nitrogen‑filled. The rubber armor provides shock absorption and a secure, non‑slip grip. The spotting scope meets high water‑resistance standards, allowing safe use in rain or snow without risk to the optics. With an operating temperature range of –20°C to +60°C, the device can be used year‑round.
Smartphone photography and videography
The kit includes a stable metal tabletop tripod. A smartphone adapter, which attaches your phone to the eyepiece for photo and video recording, is also provided. For field use, a full‑size photo tripod is recommended; a standard 1/4" tripod socket is fitted for this purpose.
