Features:
The tripod allows the EQ8 mounts to be mounted solidly without loss of stability. It is an alternative to pier with comparable stability. The pier attachment allows telescopes to swivel freely and objects to be photographed far beyond the meridian. Especially for longer telescopes there is more free space than with a tripod.
The central column can be adjusted in height, so that the working height of the tripod can be infinitely adjusted from about 75 cm to 100 cm.
Three floor plates, which can also be levelled, ensure a horizontal installation and prevent the mounting from sagging if the surface is slightly softer.
