PLASMA BALL

A phenomenon similar to lightning, but under controlled conditions. In the center of this glass globe, a high tension nucleus, surrounded by low pressure gas (plasma), evokes visible electron discharges. You can influence the phenomenon by touching the surface of the glass globe. By doing this, you generate mechanical vibrations and temperature fluctuations, causing the electrical discharges to converge to the point you are touching.
