The Ermenrich Ping MK10 clamp meter is a portable measuring device that does not require breaking the circuit to measure current and thereby ensures safe work with electrical networks and electrical equipment. The digital clamp meter is indispensable when it is not possible to turn off the electricity, and it is convenient to use when measurements are taken in hard-to-access places.

The device combines the functions of a voltmeter (measurement of direct and alternating voltage), ammeter (measurement of alternating current), and ohmmeter (measurement of resistance). Calculations are carried out using True RMS, and so the measurement accuracy of variable quantities is high. The additional functionality of the model includes checking circuit continuity and testing diodes for faults.

The measurement results and operating parameters of the device are displayed on the built-in screen. The screen backlight makes it easy to work in low light and complete darkness. There is a Data Hold function, which is useful in a situation where it is impossible to immediately take readings from the device. When activated, they will be “frozen” on the screen and can be accessed later.

The device requires a pair of standard batteries to operate. The auto-off function helps save power. When the batteries are low, a notification will appear thereby indicating that they need to be replaced.
