While the traditional guidescope mound uses adjustable rings which press on the tube, this extremely sturdy head uses a dovetail system, for quick attachment/release. It is adjustable in two axes, controlled with two independent knobs.
There is also a 1/4-20 bolt for camera attachment, which means that this head can serve as a piggyback mount.
