Pier-stand SQ-L for EM-500 (height: 102 cm)
Takahashi offers heavy columns for stationary installation for its mounts. For the large EM-500 there are two different heights, these SQ-columns have larger cantilevers than the other columns and offer an even higher stability. The low SQ-S is e.g. good for a Newtonian, the high SQ-L for the TOA-150 or the μ-300. Besides the high stability, the big advantage of columns is that the tube can be swung through freely, even with longer instruments or far overhanging accessories there is no bumping at a tripod leg.
