Levenhuk Discovery Artisan 1024 is a portable microscope with a 5Mpx digital camera. This device can be powered by an AC power supply or a battery so that you can take it wherever you like. It is convenient to take it when going to a client or studying specimens in the field. It will also be useful for presentations and group observations, as it is compatible with external devices. The capabilities of the device will be helpful for various specialists: jewelers, geologists, numismatists, workers of repair shops, appraisers, and many others. A handheld microscope is often used to check the quality of goods in stores and detect any possible mold growing on fruit and vegetables.

The microscope features a 4″ color LCD screen that can be rotated. The picture under the objective is displayed on the screen in real time. The microscope can capture images and record videos in high resolution. A memory card is required, which is purchased separately. MicroSD cards with a capacity up to 32GB are supported. If necessary, the microscope can be connected to an external device: a monitor, a TV, or a computer. All of the necessary cables are already included in the kit. Before connecting a microscope to a computer, do not forget to install the included software. It will give you access to extended features and allow for measuring linear and angular sizes of objects.

The microscope features an LED Illumination system with brightness adjustment. LEDs are located around the objective so that all observations are carried out in reflected light. There is a polarizing filter that allows for reducing glare and parasite reflections during observing shiny objects. The magnification is smoothly variable in a range from 10x to 300x and a digital zoom allows for observing at up to 1200x magnification.

The kit includes a small tripod that enables you to carry out stationary observations. The pouch for carrying and storing is also included.
