The lenses in the telescope are made of glass. The outside surfaces are protected with an anti-reflecting coating that improves the image brightness. Even a kid can operate this telescope: to point an optical tube at the desired position, turn it along the horizontal or vertical axis. A mount is easily fixed on an aluminum tripod.
