Omegon Nightstar 25x100 Binoculars
Features:
Omegon Nightstar 25x100s are powerful large binoculars for nature watching and is an instrument that provides bright images for wide field astronomical observing.
Optics
With their 100mm objective diameter, the optics already collect 204 times more light than the dark-adapted eye (for a 7mm pupil). In addition, the 4mm exit pupil provides a bright, high-contrast image for nature watching during twilight. The oversized BaK4 prisms ensure a bright wide field of view. All optical surfaces are fully multi-coated to guarantee high light transmission. The eyepieces have 18mm of eye relief for particularly comfortable viewing, meaning even spectacle wearers can see the entire field of view.
Mechanics
The reinforced centre section with built-in metal tripod adapter allows the binoculars to be optimally mounted and counterbalanced on any standard tripod. Focusing is effected via precise adjustment at each eyepiece, ensuring optimal dioptric compensation. These binoculars are ideally designed for outdoor use, with their special shock-resistant construction protecting the optical alignment from knocks. The waterproof, nitrogen-filled bodies are constructed from durable aluminium alloy, ensuring continued enjoyment for their owner even after many years of use.
Observing
With a weight of only 3.35 kg these binoculars rank among the lighter large binoculars in the 100mm range. Nature watchers can use these fast binoculars for observing deer at the edge of the forest at dawn for example, or shy and retiring chamois up in the mountains. Distant ships can be observed at sea. There is virtually no end to all the different things an observer could see.
