Solar Filters from Astrozap are the right choice for save and successful Solar observing and photography. These premium solar filters have an aluminum cell that is centered and secured to the end of the telescope with nylon thumb screws.
These are the highest quality, most durable, full aperture glass solar filters we know. The sun is viewed in a natural yellowish-orange image. The filter can be used for direct viewing or for photography.
The sunlight does not graze the secondary or the spider vanes, so there are no obstruction effects when using a reflector telescope. This results into an image quality similar to the one of a refractor.
