The Epsilon 160 extender provides a 1.5 times increase in focal length and is comprised of 7 optical elements in 5 groups.
This design provides ultra-high performance that corrects coma aberration on each the model of Epsilon telescope.
Even at the extended focal length, the star image is equal to or better than that obtained at the native focal length of the telescope.
In all models, the extender provides an RMS spot size of 2 microns or less at the centre of the field, and 8 microns or less at the diameter of a full frame sensor (44 mm).
