Ermenrich Seek TV80 Thermal Camera
Features:
The Ermenrich Seek TV80 Thermal Camera is a powerful handheld device with an extended temperature range and remote control capability via a smartphone or tablet. It is well-suited for professional equipment condition monitoring and building thermal performance analysis; inspecting insulation in walls, facades, joints, and reveals; diagnosing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; and inspecting electrical and plumbing systems for overheating and leaks.
The device features a 120x90px thermal sensor with 40mK sensitivity for clear and low-noise imaging. The –20°C to +550°C measurement range covers industrial applications. Thermograms are clearly presented on a large 3.5-inch LCD display with a high 640x480px resolution. This enables detailed on-site analysis without requiring any data transfer to a computer. Its 25Hz refresh rate ensures smooth imaging during movement. In addition to the eight standard color palettes, the Ermenrich Seek TV80 model features four specialized alarm palettes for high/low temperature limits. In two modes, the thermal camera highlights areas with temperatures that exceed the set limits. In the other two modes, the color emphasis is placed on areas falling within the specified temperature range. This enables the immediate identification of critical temperature values and the exclusion of areas with acceptable temperatures from further analysis.
The built-in recorder saves photos and videos to the camera’s internal storage or microSD card. Images can be saved not only in JPG but also in HIR format (with temperature data). Files can be transferred to a PC via a wired connection (USB Type-C) as well as to a smartphone/tablet via Wi-Fi. Both platforms use the dedicated Thermview Pro software package. It is available for installation on Windows platforms (the installation file is available in the “References and Downloads” section) as well as Android and iOS (application is downloadable from respective app stores). Software features include: photo and streaming video transfer, thermogram analysis, display mode management, report creation and saving, and data sharing via email and messaging apps.
Featuring adjustable emissivity settings, the camera ensures accurate temperature measurements across various surface materials. Ease of use is ensured by an automatic shut-off and a battery level indicator that warns when recharging is needed. These features make the device practical for professional use in various conditions. A 2600mAh battery provides up to four hours of cordless operation. An operational temperature range of –15°C to +50°C allows the device to be used outdoors, even in cold weather.
