AZ 2500 DDS

The AZ 2500 DDS (Direct Drive System) mount is one of 10Microns latest project. A new computerized altazimuth mount with software integrated derotator/focuser.

The AZ DDS mounts integrate all the latest technologies and technical acquirements in mechanical, electrical, electronics, software and design fields: any single feature and component has been accurately studied in order to reach the highest level of efficiency that has always characterized 10Micron products. For over 20 years, 10Micron has been a leader in the field of telescope mounts. Their products are selected by astronomical observatories, universities, and companies worldwide for their technology, quality, and reliability.

The mount is designed for the use of two optics (75 + 75 kg), which optimizes the load on the mount and takes advantage of the azimuthal design.
